Step 2 : Hardware Setup

Getting the PSLED01 panel ready for use as a marquee display means a few small adjustments to the modules.

We will also add some feet to create a stand, then get everything connected up

Instructions

1 - Remove the top plate and slide 4x L-brackets down runner as shown

Secure the top plate once the L-brackets are in the runner

2 - Attach the feet to the legs

Insert and align the L-brackets as shown (see image)
Attach the leg to each foot
Ensure the legs are both attached in the same place along their feet and tighten the L-brackets
Add the orange silicone grip insert to the bottom of each foot section

3 - Attach the legs to the panel

Ensure everything is tightened, secure, and stable before moving on

Align the L-brackets with the legs so the feet are perpendicular / at 90° to the panel
Position the legs evenly across the frame side to ensure the panel is stable
Tighten the L-brackets to the panel and legs

4 - Rotate the LED modules in the frame

Ensure the panel not plugged to the mains power before removing any modules or starting work

5 - Connect everything up!

As shown in the diagram, make the following connections:
- MCTRL300 Sending Card RJ45 > either PSLED01 RJ45 port
- MCTRL300 Sending Card USB B > Computer USB A
- Computer HDMI > MCTRL300 Sending Card DVi
- Mains power > PSLED01
The USB connection between the MCTR300 and computer is for setup only, once this has been done the USB is only required when making changes to the screen configuration.
