When the workshop calls but life says otherwise
All this time getting the website together + preparing our panel packaging for shipping has meant we have been spending less time in the workshop recently.
There is always a balance to find with these things. Sometimes making cool stuff is problem solving, trying different parts, prototyping, + having a fun time exploring creatively.
Other times it looks like endlessly poking a keyboard + wanging a mouse about, tweaking metadata + learning about SEO.
Whilst all of these activities are important the more admin + business process side of things can sometimes feel a lot like an office job.
It is nice to see the effort pay off with people visiting the site, asking questions, reading articles, + getting excited for some of their own LED action. When this happens it makes the less immediately engaging work entirely worth it.
We are looking forward to making a return to the workshop, to editing some vlogs, + to getting the first Build Diary completed.
At least our office manager is a pretty relaxed sort...
