Step 2 : Prepare Cross Bars

The first part of the extruded aluminium frame that will hold the panel together

  • 2020 T-Nuts M5
    D01 : M5 T-Nuts | 2020 Hardware4x
  • 2020 L-bracket
    D03 :L-Bracket | 2020 Hardware4x

Instructions

1 - Slide L-brackets onto extruded aluminium

Slide 2x L-brackets onto the same track of each cross bar, pointing towards one another.
Make sure they are the correct way around - green arrow in image indicates the correct alignment.
The bracket will only slide down the track if it is INCORRECTLY inserted.
Don't tighten them onto the cross bars yet! It makes the next step easier when they are loose.

Align the L-bracket with the track
If the L-bracket slides down the track it is incorrectly aligned!

2 - Slide M5 T-Nuts onto cross bars

Align tracks as shown in image
Slide 2x 2020 T-Nuts onto each crossbar so they match the images
Align the cross bars as shown before sliding T-nuts onto tracks
The T-nuts on the correct cross bar tracks
