Step 7 : Attach receiving card to backplate

The receiving card is the heart of your panel, let's get it securely fastened to the back plate

Parts

  • Receiving Card Novastar MRV412
    B03 : MRV412 Receiving Card | Novastar1x
  • 8mm M3 black countersink machine screws
    D05 : 8mm Countersunk Screws | M34x
  • M3 1mm silicone washers
    D08 : 12mm x 1mm Silicone Washer | M34x
  • 6mm M3 male/female nylon stand offs
    D09 : 6mm Nylon Stand Off Male/Female | M34x
  • M3 nylon nuts
    D10 : 2mm Nylon Nuts | M34x

Tools

  • Screwdriver
    Torx  -  T8
    A Torx bit or Hex Key will work here

Instructions

By the end of this step your build should look like this

1 - Attach stand offs to receiving card with nuts

Insert the posts of the stand-offs throught the mounting holes at each corner of the receiving card.
Secure and tighten the stand-offs in place with a nylon nut.
The stand off is inserted from the underside of the receiving card
The green circles show the 4 stand-offs secured in place.

2 - Attach receiving card to stand offs with nuts

Push screws through the countersunk holes in the back plate as shown in the image.
The washers will help keep the screws in the holes when the frame is turned over.
Screw the receiving card to the backplate using the stand offs and tighten.
