Step 8 : Prepare base plate

Adding all the connections to the base plate before attaching it to the frame

  • C13 fused panel mount switch
    C01 :C13 + Fuse + Switch Panel Mount Socket1x
  • RJ45 panel mount thru socket
    C02 : Cat6 RJ45 D-type Female Connector Panel Mount2x
  • 60mm internal mains cable
    C09 : 60mm LED Panel Internal Mains Cable1x
  • M3 18mm Countersunk Machine Screw
    D06 : 12mm Countersunk Screws | M36x
  • M3 1mm silicone washers
    D08 : 12mm x 1mm Silicone Washer | M36x

Tools

  • Scissors
  • Screwdriver
    Torx  -  T8
    A Torx bit or Hex Key will work here

Instructions

1 - Check C13 socket for fuse

Use a flat headed screw driver to lift the fuse cover.
Ensure a fuse is inserted.

Ensure a fuse is correctly inserted if missing

2 - Attach internal mains cable to C13 socket pins

Connect the internal mains cable to the C13 socket using the spade ends.
Connect the correct wires go to the correct pins as shown
Blue = Neutral
Brown = Live
Green/Yellow = Earth

3 - Prepare silicone washers

Cut the side off of each washer using scissors as shown.

4 - Attach RJ45 ports and C13 socket to base plate

Push each component through the base plate as shown.
Secure using screws, silicone washers, and nuts.
Align the washers so the cut edge faces the component.
